Simware is in use for the development of a new generation of UAVs trainers to allow flight schools to provide ab-initio, type-rating and recurrent training to UAVs pilots who will fly these systems in non-segregated airspace in the near future.
The use of Simware platform in the project allows the development of the trainer with an open Data-Centric architecture, fully distributed and compliant with the main standards in the market for robotics and simulation systems.
Compliance with main standards in robotics, simulation & training allows this training device to be seamless interoperable with real unmanned systems and its control stations and also with other simulation and training systems in a federation of distributed simulations.
Training architecture is based on the LSA architecture, leveraging many packages in Simware, Simware Core, Simware Web, Simware LVC and SimDeveloper, to build the RPAS trainer as a lego, integrating more than building the different subsystems of the trainer:
