Leveraging Simware to think about future systems and procedures
CD&E is about experiment with systems, procedures and concepts before they are built or deployed. CD&E is about how to integrate new systems and procedures in the real world. Because we are looking ahead, only way to experiment it is by integrating models and simulations of the future systems and procedures with the existing systems. At the end it is to apply LVC simulation for other purpose different to training, but, basically, the technical requirements are the same in both cases:
- Easy interoperability between any kind of systems, operational or simulated.
- Capability to interact virtual scenarios with real systems.
- Capability to deploy the CD&E features in the network.
Simware addresses above requirements with its fully data and network centric platform based on a new architecture: LSA. Simware leverages LSA to converge multiple standards in a common simulation platform, based on the best technology available right now to distributed data between different systems and networks : DDS.
Simware is the best platform to integrate live and virtual worlds in a CD&E lab. Its data-centric design allows to normalize a common data model and data exchange mechanisms for the whole federation. Support of multiple standards in the same platform allows the seamless cooperation of systems from different providers and organizations. Open APIs in Simware allows also to adapt legacy and propietary systems to the CD&E Lab.
